Taj Mahal Remembers Precious

inNewson January 16, 2013

Precious_smallTim, the news of the passing of our dear lady of sweet song and voice underscores the enduring significance of “The Music Maker Foundation.” That these amazing people and artists were able to, through your efforts as an organization, live dignified lives and although,in many cases, their golden years, were filled with the joy of recognition by their families, peers, and fans the world over! In a sense you gave them that “day in the sun” that might never have happened without your foundations’ vision, forethought and positive assistance!

Precious had a way of immediately pulling you into her soul! I’ll never forget the first time I heard her I knew I could never get enough of how she sang, her voice and the intimate wisdom with which she chose topics for her songs!  Just so achingly perfect and all at once beautiful and personal!

She will not be forgotten,as witnessed by the many supporters and musicians who made their presence known and shared their feelings at this departure of our sister from the earth plane!

You’re on your new journey now Precious! Come visit us in our dreams!

Jah speed!

Taj
