MMRF Artists to perform at Jazzfest 2013

The Branchettes, the Pura Fé Trio and Little Freddie King will perform at the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April/May!

For The Branchettes, a gospel group from Johnston County, NC, that has been performing for four decades, this performance will be their Jazzfest debut. Well-known performers in NC, it is rare for them to perform outside their home state. You can see them on Friday, May 3rd – more details.

The Pura Fé Trio, comprised of Pura Fé Crescioni, MMRF Next Generation Artist Cary Morin, and Peter Knudsen, will perform their Native American-influenced Blues on Thursday, May 2nd and Friday, May 3rd. More details.

Little Freddie King has been performing at Jazzfest every year since the very first one in 1970 – excepting 1980 – and 2013 is no exception. See his electric blues show on Sunday, April 28. More details.
