Bon Voyage to MMRF Artists Headed to Australia!

inNewson March 21, 2013

Aaron & Sam in San FranMusic Maker Artists Ironing Board Sam, Major Handy, Pat Wilder, Ardie Dean, Dr. Burt, Albert White and Nashid Abdul-Khaaliq are embarking on a ten-day tour of Australia, culminating in a series of performances at the Byron Bay Bluesfest, which is sponsoring the rest of the tour.

We are so excited for our artists to have this wonderful opportunity to perform in front of thousands of new fans, and educate them about American Roots music. Aaron, who is managing the tour, just sent me this photo of him and Sam during their layover in San Francisco. Tomorrow, they’ll all be Down Under!

Check out the tour dates on our tour calendar here.

    Hi All
I live about 40 minutes south of Byron Bay and have a 5 day ticket to Bluesfest, I really hope to catch up with Aaron and the artists at the festival and if they have time show them around the beautiful north coast of NSW. I love the blues and look forward to Bluesfest each year. I will be cheering loudly for the Blues Revue.
I am sure thye will be great.
    Regards
    John McKenna

Can’t wait to see the boys in Sydney, for those in Australia who would like a taste of the Music Makers- check out this feature on Radio National- they’re playing it again this Saturday, but you can listen on line as well: https://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/intothemusic/the-music-maker-foundation/3781348
My husband and I traveled to North Carolina in 2011 and feel very lucky to have met and recorded some artists with MMRF.
