Music Maker is thrilled to be headed to back to Telluride Blues & Brews Festival this September. Renowned as one of the most scenic and intimate music festivals in the country, Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is located in the world-famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. The multi-stage celebration of music and craft beer offers an eclectic mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel, and soul performances accompanied by some of the best craft breweries in the country. This year, Music Maker partner artists Cookie McGee, The Como Mamas, Sandra Hall, Willie Farmer, and more will perform at the nation’s premier blues festival.
When festival organizer Steve Gumble met Music Makers’ Timothy Duffy, the pair bonded over a shared appreciation of America’s musical traditions and of the Foundation’s mission. Gumble and Duffy first teamed up in 2015 to bring artists from the Music Maker roster to Telluride. These artists deliver genuine blues, gospel, and soul sets giving festival attendees a rare look at traditional American music culture. Presented by Telluride Express, the Music Maker Drink House at the Blues Stage will give you a glimpse into authentic blues culture. The Drink House features:
• Original art exhibition and tintype photography shot by Music Maker co-founder Timothy Duffy.
• Listening stations with original vinyl records. Bring a friend and use the dual headphones to sample classics from the blues genre and discover new and up-and-coming artists.
• Artist meet-and-greets from the Music Maker roster. Shake hands, ask questions, and learn more about the artists performing at the festival.
• Photo booth to commemorate the experience.
