We recently released a long awaited collection of John Lee Ziegler’s music and received a wonderful response from Music Maker’s fans. It feels so good to know that true American artists like John Lee get some recognition for their vital contributions to our culture, and John Lee’s version of Shake, Rattle, and Roll is a great example of his unique style. Taking a this quintessential song and stripping it down to its blues roots and pairing it with John Lee’s primitive guitar and high pitched singing you get a version that, somehow, rocks even harder than the full band versions of this classic.
