Theotis Taylor is from Fitzgerald, Georgia and  made his living harvesting turpentine. His singing and piano playing are utterly stunning. He is among the greatest talents of this genre. When I visited him when he was 90 years old, he handed me an old 8 track he issued in the 80s. Through his son, I acquired the original 8 track masters. My friend Bruce Watson painstakingly cleaned the mold off and remixed the tracks with some fresh musical back up to create this timeless masterpiece.
