Last week MMRFs Executive Director traveled down to New Orleans to visit with Little Freddie King who had recently been in a severe bicycling accident. Little Freddie was in good spirits and on the mend. Anyone who has ever been to New Orleans has probably seen Little Freddie play some of Nola’s famous haunts and if not, they have felt his presence in the cobble stone streets that pave the French Quarter, because Little Freddie King is that dude. His music and style reflects New Orleans’ so well he was chosen to have a cameo in Beyoncé’s whose backdrop was New Orleans.
