There are few people that could exude positivity and peace like Dr. Burt did. He was a true Freedom Fighter in his youth and later got to spread his good word through song on international stages as a Music Maker partner artist. I remember interviewing Dr. Burt years ago for piece about Black History Month and he spoke of the progress we had made as a society here in America. He also stressed the fact there was still a very long way to go. I wonder what Dr. Burt’s thoughts would be today if he turned on the news – – What Can an Old Man Do?
