“How Lucky Can One Man Be” appears on Big Ron’s Music Maker release The Great Unknown.  This week’s dig is an earlier recording. It’s stripped down, Big Ron accompanying himself on guitar only. His delivery has such an intimacy, a rawness, I feel as if he is singing these deep and beautiful words to me. I know it can’t be, first of all, I’m not the “girl” he keeps referring to in the song. But I can’t help but be moved. I have a sneaking suspicion that I am not the only one.
