Music Maker’s Founder, Tim Duffy, will give a talk on the Roots of Music Maker and our 20-year history working with traditional musicians here in North Carolina and throughout the South. The evening event, on February 21st at 7pm, will also feature a performance from Ironing Board Sam.

Tim said of the event, “It’s been an honor to serve the state of North Carolina’s most honored Blues musicians such as Etta Baker, George Higgs and John Dee Holeman, as well as similar artists throughout the South. I’m excited to meet new members of the community and introduce them to the work we do. Hillsborough has been a wonderful homebase to Music Maker for the past 20 years.”
